4 Kids I Must Be Nuts

 Terrible Twos, Earlier Then Expected

The past two days have been pure hell. Little Miss Neva (15 months) has decided to enter into the terrible twos early.

I knew payback was coming at some point as she has been such a good natured child prior to this. I expected payback to come around the teen years, but it is here right now.

Neva has a temper, add to that the fact that she is trying to find her independence and you get a ball of craziness.

She has been having fits if she wants to do something and she is told no. She wants to play on the computer like her brothers, sit at the table in a chair instead of her high chair, stand on the table, write with pen and paper not crayons, walk without holding hands, walk around the store by herself not in the carriage.

Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this independence surge? I know it is normal but I am having a hard time. It seems like she wants to do everything she is not supposed to and when she is told no she has a fit.

She is still young so it is not like I can logically explain to her what is going on. Any tips will surely be appreciated.

 Adding More To My Plate

I have not been around a lot latley because I registered for school. Yes if I was not nuts enough with 4 kids I decided it was time to go back to college for my bachelors.
To make it a little easier on me I will be taking online classes. So if I am not around a lot like I used to be you guys will know it is not because I love yall any less.
I am sure once I get into the swing of things I will be around a lot more love you all

 How Fast They Grow

I have been in awe of my oldest son latley. Darian is 13 all most 14. He is so tall and of course handsome. Some days I find myself looking at him and wondering where did all of these years go?

The other day I happened to look out the window and saw him talking to two girls with his friend. Boy did it hit me that my little boy is growing up.

I am so proud of him though, all in all he is a great kid. What makes me happy is that even though he is getting older he still enjoys doing things with me and as a family.
It surprises me that when I take the little ones to the park, he will ask to come. He stays right with us and plays with his siblings.
I love him, I have loved to watch him grow thorugh out these years and there are many more to come of course but it has just become apparent to me latley of how much he has grown. How he has gone to my little man to my teenage son.

 The Ropes

I was a little nervous about Cullen (9) and Darian (13) going to the same school this year. I really thought there would be some problems as they have bickered all most ALL summer.

To my surprise they have been getting a long for the most part even though this is only the 3rd day of this school year.

I think it evens things out when Darian is the older experienced one giving advice and information to his younger brother. I can tell it makes Darian feel good to share that information and Cullen well I think he feels more at ease going into a middle school knowing big brother is around.
