The past two days have been pure hell. Little Miss Neva (15 months) has decided to enter into the terrible twos early.
I knew payback was coming at some point as she has been such a good natured child prior to this. I expected payback to come around the teen years, but it is here right now.
Neva has a temper, add to that the fact that she is trying to find her independence and you get a ball of craziness.
She has been having fits if she wants to do something and she is told no. She wants to play on the computer like her brothers, sit at the table in a chair instead of her high chair, stand on the table, write with pen and paper not crayons, walk without holding hands, walk around the store by herself not in the carriage.
Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this independence surge? I know it is normal but I am having a hard time. It seems like she wants to do everything she is not supposed to and when she is told no she has a fit.
She is still young so it is not like I can logically explain to her what is going on. Any tips will surely be appreciated.
