When will I ever learn? With every positive there is a negative! The kids got home from school this afternoon and I forgot one thing from last year… the paperwork.

 

I sat here this evening writing and writing and writing just all those note cards with their information but still. ARGHHHHHH

 

They both had a wonderful day at school. I had myself a laugh this evening when I was taking the younger ones home from the park after dinner. I drove by the park where Darian (13) was playing basketball. I honked the horn forever and waved. Ha HA HA a Mom’s revenge.

 

He took it good though he kept laughing.

Twas the first day of school and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse.

 

After a long hot summer, my house is finally empty. This morning I walked back in after taking the little ones to school. I had peace and quiet, priceless.

 

I can’t wait until the end of the day when the older ones come home and tell me all about their first day!

The smell is in the air, that nice cool September air. My older kids start school on Tuesday. You know what that means????? I am going to have the house to myself.

 

With them in school and the younger ones in daycare, Mom can work in peace!

It has been a while since I have posted a song on Saturday but this week I had a song in mind. For two days now when we come back from the park or school Isaiah (4) insists on this CD to be played nice and loud.

Picture him bobbing his head and little Geneva (15 months) throughing her arms around from side to side it is truly a sight to see.
