4 Kids I Must Be Nuts

As If The Zoo Was Not Enough

The fresh air makes me crazy gives me all this energy that I really don't have...I'll pay for it tonight believe me.
I decided to have a little one on one with Cullen (9) we went to grammy's picked up the dog and off we went to the sheep pasture which has begun to be my favoriteget away. There are a lot of paths...trees..happy smiling people and quiet.
We walked a lot of paths along the way Cullen was giving me a science lecture on plants. I learned a lot...now I know I learned this stuff when I was a kid because bits and pieces seemed familiar to me but let me tell you it's a whole lot interesting when Cullen tells it. As I listened to him I began to see how smarter he is then I ever was.
I am proud of him that he is interested in school and applies it. I learned that plants have ovaries that hold seeds...all about their growth..life and death.
Then we went back to Grammy's for a visit. Her friend came over whom she has been trying to hook me up with for about 3 years now He is my age though..no dirty thoughts people. I don't know how the conversation turned but the next thing you know my mother is telling Brian that he should take me out in his truck so I can release some of my built up sexual tension. He was joking right back.
Needless to say I was soooooo embarassed I think I may have even shot him a dirty look or two not meaning too. I felt like a school girl who was in the same room with her crush. It just feels weird when someone is trying to hook you up with a person..and knowing that other person likes you...much different then the mechanic but still akward.
I should be in bed soon as I am pooped the good weather is just getting here..as if having the 4 kids was not enough me on the constant go because of it will put me in the ground

 The Zoo

We went to the zoo today...one other then my home The kids had a great time there was so much to see and explore.
Geneva (11 months) seems more interested now which is the greatest thing ever for me. I love when they begin to get a little older where their not yet toddlers but not infants anymore. It's such a sight to see when they discover what's around them.
I still have some energy in me not sure what we're going to do but sure will be outside as it is a gorgeous day out!
Hope you all are enjoying your weekend...sorry to tell you it's all most over

Game Of Tag And I'm It

I have been tagged so here it goes 4 things I have heard and never forgotten which will be hard because my memory is shot
1. What dick is not a bad word...papa's bosses name is dick---my oldest son at age 8

2. All men want to do is get their dicks wet---my mother when I was a teen that was my 'birds and the bees' talk nothing more nothing less

3. George bush sucks because he is trying to kill grammy----from my 2 oldest as my mother is always 'dying' and always bitching about George Bush

4. I need my big dick---this one is a classic and was just said by my 4 year old while he was trying to say stick. I will never forget it ever

see I told you my memory is shot...I just read the directions and messed it up all ready it was to be 5 things not 4

5. I am going to adopt because I don't want a wife...too many problems-----my cousin's 6 yearold about his views on having kids

 Saturday Night Blog Fever---SHUT UP

I freakin love this song. When the kids are getting rowdy messing with each other....when the outside world is making me angry...even when my own voices of self doubt are yelling at me (serriously I am not nuts) I find myself SHOUTING THIS CHORUS out loud in my head of course unless I am playing it in the car or at home.
The kids will tell ya this song is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO me when they have pushed me to that limit

 One On One Time Isaiah

Having four kids I have found the importance of one on one time with each of the kids. It is hard but can be done.
Today was Isaiah's (4) time. We took my Mom's dog to the park, fed the sheep, chickens. Then we had our adventure in the woods following the paths.
Isaiah is so much fun because he has an imagination like I had when I was young. My imagination was born out of necessity as I was an only child.
We pretended to be on an adventure out in the woods..discovering so many things. The dog had a great time too.
Then we went to McDonald's..had dinner he played in the inside playground with the other kids.
Our last stop was the supermarket. He had a ball driving the little car at the front of the cart.
Usually it's his Dad that does the one on one time with Isaiah but today was different. He seemed to really enjoy it..not as much as I did
