4 Kids I Must Be Nuts

 Brawling Babe

So lately my little sweet princess has turned into one brawling babe! Geneva (1 ½) has been developing her own little attitude for a while but now she seems to want to back it up with her hands.

Mommy says ‘OH HELL TO THE NO!’. She may only be little but now is the time to let her know there is only one queen bee in this house and that’s me.

Of course when I tell her no hitting, hitting is bad she cries and cries hoping I will give in but on this issue Mom is not budging.

 Exact Opposites

My two oldest boys; Darian (14) and Cullen (10) are exact opposites. It doesn’t help that they have different Dad’s either who are exact opposites as well.

The boys have always had their little squabbles here and there but it gets less and less over time. Fast forward to the present day…can you say LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????????????

I never had any of these problems because I was an only child but now they have started to get physical with one another which I don’t mind for the most part because I supervise it and make sure no one is fighting dirty and no one is getting too much of an upper hand.

Let me tell you though this referee stuff is getting very old. Is there anyone out there that may have some advice as how to handle sibling rivalry more so brother and brother wars.

 A Favor

A few weeks ago I offered to baby sit for Cullen’s cousin (his Aunt’s daughter) she is a few weeks younger then my youngest Neva (1 ½). I truly felt bad for her that she is young and doesn’t get out much.

So I drove to pick her up, watched her for free and dropped her back off. I ended up having to call the Mom at night because the little girl was freaking out and crying for her mommy.

Now she told me when I picked her up if anything happened to call her and that she would be to pick her up within the hour. When she picked up the phone at 11pm she seemed more annoyed then anything giving me a bit of attitude.

The next day I could not for the life of me get a hold of her which started to trouble me because at times she was talking about giving the baby up for adoption and I was hoping she was not leaving her with me. By evening I found her and dropped the baby off.

Well here it has been a few weeks and I get a voice mail from her ghetto ass being pissed that her daughter has a stain on her pants (she got in some mud outside while I was watching her). Mind you when I told her that her daughter’s clothes were cute she told me she never buys any she steals all her clothes.

I was so mad for a few hours like how do some people live like they do. I would never make an issue over that especially when someone went out of their way to do something nice for you.

Then I realized how much she has to grow and mature and I decided a nice prayer needed to be sent out for her but also for that precious little girl who will learn a lot from her mother.

 Chuck E Freakin Cheese

Today we went to Chuck E Cheese, a place I can only go like once a year because it is just tooooo much.

My kids had a great time and for the most part of the time I did too until towards the end when I just could not take another screaming kid, another kid bumping into me or trying to find my kids in the mass of little ones.

The funny thing about it is the money you spend on tokens like $30 and what did they get? Some cheap bubble gum toy but hey they had fun earning the tickets and now I am ready for bed LOL.

 Bill

There is never a dull moment having kids more so when you have more then one. I always catch myself laughing at something they do or say, perplexed by their intelligence and my lack there of, crying when they hurt my feelings and beaming with pride as I watch them morph into their own people.

The other night I was watching TV with all the kids when out of no where Cullen (10) comes out with ‘My friend ‘bill’ likes this girl and does not know what to do’. I smiled as I answered because I know there was no Bill that it was his way to broach the subject with the less embarrassment as possible.

I caught him while I was discussing it as he said I instead of Bill. I burst out laughing and told him I knew it.

My boy is growing up!
