4 Kids I Must Be Nuts

 OK Now It's Personal-It's On

So yall remember the end of friend story with my 13 yearold right? A little tussle between boys ok I can take myself out of it but tonight was a different story motherly rage in full effect baby
Darian comes home tonight and tells me Tavonte stole my bike. Now Darian has a track record of not telling the whole story..editing it so he is in the right (haven't we all done it?). So I went and questioned the other kid that was with Darian at the time keeping Darian in the car asking him the story.
Come to find out Darian let him use the bike but he was supposed to bring it back at 5:30PM (he let him use it at 3:30PM) So I am now mad at my son for not telling me the whole story. I know he edited it so I would not be angry at him but I let him know a mother will always find out. I would not have been so mad at him just disapointed. So he is grounded for a month for lying because he has been doing this latley and is not learning. Tough love baby
So we go to the kids house I let Darian go up and ask for the kid and his bike he was not home. We were all around town looking for this kid for a few hours. I went back to the house and spoke to the 11 yearold sister who did not know where here brother is and no way to contact her Mom who was in Boston. She did not know when she would be back. I left my phone number and asked her to call advising if I don't have the bike back by tomorrow after school the police will be involved.
The Mom calls me tonight saying she doesn't know where he is and she hopes that when she gets home the bike is there if not she will replace it. She said she would call me tonight but I have not heard from her.
Lesson learned for my son don't trust people they are not your friends right away. I explained when you first meet a person they are your acquaintance until they earn your trust. Also that he is worth more then letting someone bully him. It should have been the end of dealing with this kid when he jumped him with the other boys no making amends and letting him use the bike.
So all I can do right now is wait until tomorrow take it day by day but I am so mad right now. I tell those kids all the time not to let people use their things.
Oh yeah and not only did this kid do this with the bike but it turns out he stole his CD player right from the house the other day! What the hell is wrong with kids now a days? I have a fit when my kids even lean up on someone's car because it is not their property arghhhhhhhhh
We got the CD player back when I was talking to the kids sister because I told her I want the bike and the CD player back/ She knew exactly what I was talking about went right and got it no questions asked.
So to be continued.............

 I Amaze Myself

Taking a little time here to toot my own horn...toot toot
In 2 hours this morning I;changed the baby, swept the floor, washed the kitchen and bathroom floors, washed dishes, put away dishes, did 3 loads of laundry, picked up trash that my lovley kids leave all over for me the maid to pick up,entertained a 3 yearold, made brownies (my 3 yearold has been whining since last night to make them he wanted me to make them last night at 10PM I don't think so ),fed the baby her cereal, cleaned all kitchen surfaces, changed the baby again because she exploded in poop had to do a full cleaning on that one ,changed and made her crib, cleaned the cat box and well folks that's about all
Motherhood oh goodness the work hours ya gotta put in
My BF doesn't seem to get it that I don't just sit on the couch watching talk shows all day eating bon bons. He never sees how much work I actually put in. Just because I stay at home doesn't mean I don't work. When I was working full time it was a heck of a lot easier
So I guess I'm going to put my feet up for a little bit but no talk shows here the kids have taken over the TV going to watch 'Monkey George' as my 3 yearold calls him, translation....Curious George. Just what my hyperactive getting to everything son needs a role model like Monkey George...Oh help me

 4 Generations What A Blessing

I visited my Nonny yesterday with my Mom and 2 littlest ones. I felt truly blessed that I was given the opportunity to have my Nonny get to know my children before she leaves this earth.
It hurts sometimes because she has dementia so she isn't with it at all times but it is the few times when she says or does something to show she is with me that I cherish.
Geneva (my 7 month old) started to play peek-a-boo with her blanket and my Nonny. This was one of Neva's firsts and we were all in the same room to see it.
Funny how babies and elderly just click. Neva and Nonny are like best friends they love one another so much. It is so cute.
Makes it even more special that Nonny told me I was going to have a girl before I even knew I was pregnant. Just to yes her off I said Ok Nonny when I have a girl I am going to name her after your Mom Geneva.
Low and behold a few months later I was pregnant and a few months after that I found out I was carrying the girl I always yearned for.
I never gave it a second thought about her name as I gave my word to my Nonny so Geneva it is

 Shopping-Making Everything Even

Having 4 kids to shop for is mind boggling I find myself constantly counting, making sure everything is as even as it can be so no one feels the other is getting more or that I prefer one child over the other. I don't even know why I put so much energy into that because no matter what I do or how careful I am someone is unhappy
It's harder this year as the 2 older ones are more expensive to buy for so two gifts for them is like 5 for the younger one. This is enough to make anyone nuts I would never be good as an accountant!
Not to mention I have to store all these presents in my closet which is now useless for anything else.
Oh well it'll be worth it on Christmas morning when they open them. I always have to shop at the last minute or else my own excitement will get the best of me. There is always that little voice inside my mind telling me oh just give them one now but I know I have to 'follow the rule' as I tell my 4 yearold all the time
