4 Kids I Must Be Nuts

Genetics-The Good The Bad and The Ugly

Having children is an experience in itself, then when they start to develop into their own little people you begin to pick out little things they may do, say or even their appearence that is from the Mom or the Dad. These little traits can be cute, interesting, or damn right annoying
My daughter loves our cat. Everytime she chases after the cat I think of a story my biological father recited to me over the years about how when I was around her age I would try to pull the kittens through the door. When he would call me name and ask what I was doing I would look at him all innocent Only Neva doesn't pull the cat she just chases her around the house. Then it's the hair thing it's wild on the top sometimes even creating a mohawk. My Mom said she had the same thing when she was a baby. I just hope when it comes to this genetic thing that she is not like me when I was a teenager because I don't think I could handle that
My 4 year old had dark hair when he was first born then it turned blonde. I had no idea where that came from because his father and myself have dark hair. I took Isaiah to visit my nonny when he was little and she told me he had the same color hair as my great uncle. See genetics just skipping all over the place.
I think this is one of the joys and fustration of raising kids the whole genetics factor. One minute you will see something in one of your kids that will make you smile as you remember yourself as a child then the next minute youc an be ready to rip your hair out because they are doing something they have no business doing. Then you pause for a minute and think back...oh my goodness I did that how the heck did my Mother/Father deal with me good ole PAYBACK

 House Looks Like a Daycare

No matter how hard I try my house always looks like a daycare at the end of the day
I just sat down to take a minute break. Looking around the living room you would never know an adult lives here
I guess the state of the house is just another perk of having 4 kids, 2 of them being two little for school

My son turned 13 today! Here we go on the terrible teen journey
Here he is with his birthday presents his hat, shirt and new bling bling watch and necklace he wanted. He looks so old

Here is a close up of his gift set he requested
I went all over the mall looking for this set! I am so happy he told me what he wanted and even happier that I was able to get it for him

 Surrounded By Pissiness

That is one of my favorite words 'pissiness' i.e. bitching. I have 3 boys and a BF who love to bathe themselves in pissiness. I have a little girl as well but she is 6 1/2 months so she is not too that stage yet. 4 males around me most of the time and they are always in pissy moods Bitching at each other, themselves, about others any reason to release their pissiness and their own it It drives me NUTS as if I was not nuts enough! Just what I ordered a side order of bitching with my main dish of pissiness I try to stay positive most of the time and ignore their pissiness. Like tonight I was birthday shopping for my oldest with my 9 yearold whose birthday was last week all of a sudden the piss monster possessed his body and he was pissy for no reason. That piss monster was trying to turn me into a piss monster as well but I did my breathing and ignored it until the piss monster returned to his/her shell So there it goes I am down with my pissiness rant for the day. Thanks for listening

I Refuse To Turn On The Heat

It is December and I have not turn my heat on yet I am waiting until it gets cold in here. I am lucky to be in a second floor apartment and have great insulation so it is not needed right now.
I am not ready to accept the fact winter is here If I turn the heat on I am accepting that
