When interacting with my children I see the differences that age makes. Each child is in their own stage which comes with the joys and sometimes frustration.
My oldest Darian (13) is becoming a young adult. He is starting to develop his own style his own personality. I can talk to him about issues that go on from day to day and he understands. He has even started to stand by me when the younger ones are giving me a hard time. Darian is the first one to tell me to calm down and just ignore them.
Darian is my little skateboarder and artist. Both these skills have been perfected over time. I am proud of him each time he tells me he has learned a new skateboard trick or he shows me a new picture he drew.
Cullen (9) is beginning to pull away from me as is normal at this age. Yet he still has no problem giving me a kiss or hug even in front of his friends.
Cullen is my scholar. He tackles his school work with ease and with pride. Always making sure his homework is done just right.
Isaiah (4) is my little man. He is just coming out of the difficult stage. Isaiah is full of life and thirsts for knowledge.
Isaiah is my, tell it like it is little man. If you want to know the truth about something just ask him he has no shame in his game!
Then there is my youngest, Geneva (1 ½) she is Miss independent all the way. There are times when she wants her Mommy to hug and kiss her and times when she want to do it all by herself.
She is my little princess the dream I always had of being a Mother to a little girl.
All of my kids are similar in ways yet it is their differences that make me love them even more.
