4 Kids I Must Be Nuts

 Look What I Can Do

One thing I love about raising kids is watching them grow. Watching them learn to do things on their own and how proud they are when they do.

Geneva ( 1 ½) just started to cross her fingers yesterday now no one can stop her. She runs around the house showing everyone who will watch her new talent while saying ‘This, this’ over and over again.

It’s times like these that erase anything bad from my mind if only for a moment.

 Mom the Living Alarm Clock

How stupid did I feel this morning when I woke the two older ones. It seemed odd that they were not all ready awake.

Turns out that they have no school this morning it is teacher professiional day. The bad thing about it is they told me about this several times

At least they took it well just laughing at old Mom.

 The Stations of Childhood

When interacting with my children I see the differences that age makes. Each child is in their own stage which comes with the joys and sometimes frustration.

My oldest Darian (13) is becoming a young adult. He is starting to develop his own style his own personality. I can talk to him about issues that go on from day to day and he understands. He has even started to stand by me when the younger ones are giving me a hard time. Darian is the first one to tell me to calm down and just ignore them.

Darian is my little skateboarder and artist. Both these skills have been perfected over time. I am proud of him each time he tells me he has learned a new skateboard trick  or he shows me a new picture he drew.

Cullen (9) is beginning to pull away from me as is normal at this age. Yet he still has no problem giving me a kiss or hug even in front of his friends.

Cullen is my scholar. He tackles his school work with ease and with pride. Always making sure his homework is done just right.

Isaiah (4) is my little man. He is just coming out of the difficult stage. Isaiah is full of life and thirsts for knowledge.

Isaiah is my, tell it like it is little man. If you want to know the truth about something just ask him he has no shame in his game!

Then there is my youngest, Geneva (1 ½) she is Miss independent all the way. There are times when she wants her Mommy to hug and kiss her and times when she want to do it all by herself.

She is my little princess the dream I always had of being a Mother to a little girl.

All of my kids are similar in ways yet it is their differences that make me love them even more.

 The Doll House

Now that Miss Geneva (1 ½) is getting older I try to buy toys that keep her mind going and her interest.

The time has come for a doll house!!!! I think I was more excited then her. The little people, the furniture and the fun.

She plays with it and it keeps her interest which is great. The funny thing is so do her brothers from the youngest Isaiah (4) to the oldest Darian (13)… Yes I caught him fooling around with it briefly… shhh don’t tell him he would kill me if he knew I told people that LOL.

It’s so funny how boys and girls play differently. Geneva kisses the people and sits them nicely in the chairs while the boys fight the people, crash the car and make them jump off the house.

Well at least everyone gets to play with it right? I get the added enjoyment of seeing them all playing.
