4 Kids I Must Be Nuts

 Mother's Day
Back to Full Blog

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day. All though I have not been on much I am hoping to get back into the swing of things soon.

My day was wonderful I got the best gifts ever you know those little things kids make as they are growing up.

The two oldest Darian (14) and Cullen (10) made me cards. Which I so prefer over store bought ones because it is from them and their creativeness.

My two youngest gave me those precious little projects they make in daycare. Geneva (soon to be 2) made a cute little picture on a canvas that you can hang. Well a picture that a 2 year old can make LOL it is painted all brown. Isaiah (5) made me a cute fan which he painted.

The best things in life are truly free.

As we used to say in the Preschool biz..."it's not the product, it's the process." And as a MOM, I know how precious all that stuff is that they make us!

My oldest 21 doesn't have the money for flowers or a trip up to see me or probably even a card...but she sent me (via email) the sweetest and funniest letter reminding me of silly and charitable things I did for her, her siblings and other people I had long sense forgotten about.

It made me tear up, laugh and also once again realize...these kids are watching our EVERY MOVE...and the things we DO more than what we're saying is being soaked up like a sponge!

But then you knew that, didn't you!

I can NOT believe your angel girl is nearing 2!!! When I first "met" you she was just a tiny little ...BABY!!! Where IS the time going...seriously!
