So here I am all most a full month after school started and I have survived. Not sure how I did it but it was done. Wow was there a lot of changes. Cullen (10) went back to school even though the school tried to keep him out for his drawing last year. Darian (14) started high school (argh do I feel old), Isaiah (5) started Kindergarten and is so excited mostly about riding the bus and now Geneva (2 ½) is at day care without Isaiah.
The biggest thing that was stressing me out is that my day care voucher would not cover Isaiah because I work from home. I was told that he was at the age that he could be quiet when told. WHAT????? What 5 year old do you know who can be quite for 2 ½ hours?
That really bothers me just because I telecommute does not mean I do not work any less then someone who goes in to an office every day. In fact some times I find myself logging on in the evenings or over the weekend to tie up loose ends.
Now that I have adjusted to all of these changes I plan to be back blogging. Boy have I missed all of you guys. Love you all.
Good to hear from you! My kids are 18 and 13, whether they can be quiet when told is still up in the air... It is easier for some than others! Actually, I can't even be quiet when told either.
It sounds like things are going well. Hectic, yeah, but good hectic. Working from home has it's ups and downs, just as you say. You end up working when you can't sleep, which makes you lose even more sleep. But at least you can work without a full-on shower, hair, make-up, etc. I like the ability to break up the day into working for a couple of hours, time out for a while, working a bit more, and on. I really like that more than any other benefit of working at home. People are more likely to interrupt you, though, because you are home. Bella would have something to say about this, I'm sure.
Great to hear from you!
Blessings,

Oh, and be SURE to take care of yourself - it's easy to let it slide.
Couple strap them down and keep the tv on... wiat the commerical is now trying to get kids up to play an hour a day.
Sorry can't think of anything else at this time....
Hang in there.

I remember those days when the kids were
all "at home" - now with the older 3 all grown up
and married, most days it's a "piece of cake"
with only Princess at home to deal with.
